Thai Kick Boxing

Modern Thai boxing is a martial art and method of self-defense that uses fists, elbows, knees and legs to strike with. In addition clinching and throwing of the opponent is utilised. All Muay Thai Training at the academy is taught by qualified and experienced Muay Thai trainers.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a rapidly growing, combat oriented style of grappling where the object is to apply a joint lock or choke, forcing the opponent into submission.The Academy is the only authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school, in the Canterbury area owned by, and in which the students are trained by, an accredited Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.

Weaponry Combat

Weaponry Combat is a multi disciplined system incorporating several weapons styles and empty handed techniques. The major weapons taught are: Filipino stick and knife, Japanese sword and Jo.

Ladies Thai Boxing

The Academy offers Muay Thai classes especially for women in a friendly and secure atmosphere that will inspire their self-confidence, help them keep fit and give them the security that they can protect themselves.

The Kidz Martial Arts program teaches practical and interesting techniques from a wide variety of martial arts including Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate and Philipino stick fighting.

Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts is a realistic, total fighting concept incorporating all aspects of striking and grappling both standing and on the ground. Training includes Muay Thai training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling trained by some of the top MMA practitioners in NZ. Learn for self defense, fitness, strength and competition.
